Pakistan

It never occurred to us that we’ll be teaching in Pakistan until we went to the Bangkok job fair supposedly to find jobs in Southeast Asia. But the superintendent who invited us to interview was very persuasive and confidently answered all our questions and concerns. It also helped that there was an Internet cafe nearby, where we learned more about Pakistan and saw amazing photos.

Most people were naturally surprised and thought we lost our minds. The exception would be Tonette’s father who said, “oh, you’ll like it there … that country has many beautiful mountains and a rich history.” This is the same person who begged her not to go to the United States and Thailand, by the way.

And he was right. Overall we’re glad we came. These pages will show you why:

  • Taxila

3-7 DAYS
